PGCET Test

Seats allotment will be done based on the ranking in the test. MBA PGCET test will be in the afternoon from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm every year for 100 marks.

 

Eligibility

Candidate with 50% (45% in case of SC, ST & Cat I) score in qualifying course (Degree) from recognized universities of minimum of 3years duration examination. Government seats are reserved only to Karnataka candidates.

Candidate should have studied in any of the recognized schools / colleges located in in Karnataka for a minimum period of seven academic years to become eligible.

  • PGCET Fees Paid Receipt
  • Kalyan Karnataka – Article 371 J
  • Adhar Card, 2 Passport Size Photos.
  • Any other claims with valid proof

Candidates who are seeking admission to  Top MBA Colleges in Hubli under Government Quota have to produce the required original documents with one set of attested photocopies and two passport size photographs for verification purpose at the KEA help line.

 

About Entrance TEST

The PGCET Entrance Test will be held in one session separately for MBA for 120 minutes time for 100 questions. Questions are multiple choice questions (MCQs). The question paper consists of 4 categories. Each category has 25 questions. Total marks for the test is 100.

 

Rank List

Based on the performance in the entrance test, candidates will be allotted ranks. Seat selections priority will be done based on rank.

  • Enter Choice 4 if allotted seats are not satisfied and not taking help of KEA further

  • Reporting to allotted colleges

  • Final round of counseling for remaining candidates (for those entered Choice 2 & 3).

 

Option Entry

  • Option Entry will start after the receipt of the seat matrix from the Government. The details of the Universities wise, Education-wise and Section-wise seats open for allotment will be available on the KEA portal.
  • Candidates are suggested to have print out of list of colleges in which he is willing to enroll for MBA / MCA
  • The candidate whose documents are verified is eligible for option entry. The candidate has to choose the college of his choice from seats available. Candidate can enter any number of colleges in the portal.
  • Candidate has to enter the options for all the discipline at once if he is eligible for MBA MCA M Tech etc.
  • The candidate should note the name of the college in a separate sheet ofpaper and enter the option to avoid the mistakes.
  • Candidates may have to check the Cut off Ranks before entering the options to get better information.

Seats available for Second Round

  1. Un-allotted seats from FirstRound.
  2. Newly Added seats, if so.
  3. Cancelled / SurrenderedSeats from colleges.
  4. Seats of Choice 3 and Choice 4.
  5. Choice 1 and 2 seats – Not paid thefees.
  6. Consequential Vacancies
